    Seal Trust™ Seam Tapes are a butyl sealer used for bonding various roofing membranes together in typical seam applications in the roofing industry. Long term heat and chemical resistance give Seal Trust™ EPDM Seam Tapes the ability to remain flexible in harsh conditions. Surpassing the industry standards for tack and shear strength our Seam Tape products provide superior holding power for long life and high durability. Used with typical roofing membranes such as EPDM, and TPO and some PVC membranes, Seam Tape allows for quick installation without expensive hot air welders. Industry standard roofing membrane cleaners and primers must be used to clean the membrane before application. Available in black or white.

    EPDM Seam Tapes Application Instructions:

    Always clean and prime membrane using roofing industry standard products for tape applications such as Seal Trust Tack Back™ Primer or Low VOC Tape Primer. Allow primer to dry before installing tapes. Overlap membrane based on conditions or specifications. Clean both sides of membrane in the seam. Chalk lines are recommended for aligning tape. Allow release paper to stick out ½” from the membrane overlap. Install tape into seam leaving release paper on the tape. Roll release paper using metal seam roller with some force perpendicular to the tape product. This helps avoid fish mouths. Start in the middle of the seam and work towards the ends. Fold top membrane piece into the release paper and THEN pull release paper off, use you hand to guide membrane carefully on to tape before final rolling with metal roller.

    Seal Trust™ Splice Adhesive is a black adhesive designed for use as a seam adhesive during the installation of EPDM membrane systems where seaming together two sheets are required. It may also be used as a contact adhesive to bond membranes to suitable substrates as a bonding adhesive substitute. It is a viable alternative for bonding both EPDM and TPO in vertical and horizontal situations.

    Application Instructions:

    This adhesive must be thoroughly mixed prior to and during use. Recommended application instructions are printed on the container label. Meticulous care must be exercised prior to use of this product in the preparation of the seams to be lapped or spliced. The use of Seal Trust™ Splice Wash is highly recommended along with the use of Seal Trust™ Tape Primer to properly prep the seams prior to splice. Use Seal Trust™ Lap Caulk after the seams have been spliced to protect the seams until total cure has been achieved.

    Perimeter Strip  Information

    Seal Trust™ Perimeter Strip is a 6” wide .045 reinforced EPDM membrane to be installed under the rubber at the perimeter of roofs or at angle changes greater than 4” in height. Perimeter Strip comes with 3” butyl mastic sealer for installation to EPDM or TPO membrane using Tape Primer. Installation around the perimeter using 2”or 3” steel plates attached to the roof deck prior to installation of the membrane. Clean the back of the sheet at the area of contact with the butyl mastic. Carefully pull release paper off the mastic and press into place. Then roll membrane into mastic using steel roller for optimum results.

    Application Instructions:

    Perimeter Strip comes with 3” butyl mastic sealer for installation to EPDM membrane using Tape Primer. Install around the perimeter using 2” or 3” steel plates attached to the roof deck prior to installation of the membrane with proper fasteners spaced per recommended wind uplift area. Clean the back of the sheet at the area of contact with the butyl mastic. Carefully pull release paper off the mastic and press into place. Then roll membrane into mastic using steel roller for optimum results.

    Neoprene Bonding Adhesive Information:

    Seal Trust™ Neoprene Bonding Adhesive is designed for use with EPDM and TPO membranes to adhere to insulation boards such as ISO and wood fiber and also to wood, metal, masonry and approved roofing substrates. It may also be used as a general contact bond adhesive for both vertical and horizontal surfaces. May be applied using brush, roller or squeegee and also may be sprayed applied using proper equipment.

    Application Instructions:

    Recommended application instructions for use in EPDM projects are printed on the container label. Care must be taken to ensure adequate adhesive coverage when using some substrates with irregular surface patterns. Stir well before use. May be warmed to room temperature before use to promote easier application. Apply a thin coat to both intended surfaces and let adhesive “dry” until it is tacky to the touch. Mate both surfaces and apply mild pressure. Once the intended surfaces are mated, it will not be possible to reposition them without breaking the bond. Membrane should be rolled when completed. CAUTION. Keep bonding adhesive out of the seam areas at all times!

    Product Information:

    Our EPDM Lap caulk is available in 10.5 oz tubes in both black or white for use in single ply membrane applications such as EPDM or TPO. Standard caulk gun is required for application. Product should not be screed or smoothed after application. This caulk is meant to prevent water infiltration into seams and overlaps prior to the adhesive setting up. Usually 24-48 hours depending on temperature and humidity.

    Application Instructions:

    Our EPDM Lap Caulk is used when applying splice and/ or bonding adhesives where membrane is overlapped. Prevents initial moisture infiltration before the adhesives are set. Standard caulk gun required for use. Once plastic top is cut you must puncture the tube through the plastic top with a screw driver or long screw or nail to begin application. Do not screed or smooth caulk once applied. All seams that were glued or installed should be caulked at the end of each day.

    Low VOC Tape Primer Product Information:

    Low VOC Tape Primer is a clear product specifically formulated as a primer for single ply membranes before the installation of any and all tape products such as seam, flashing and cover tapes along with pipe boots and patch disks in all OTC states that require low VOC products. It is a clear product when dried allowing for use with white and black membranes.

    Application Instructions:
    Always use Low VOC Splice Wash on older, dirty membranes before the use of this product. Change rags frequently when cleaning dirty membranes. Low VOC Tape Primer should be scrubbed into the membrane using scrub pads such as Scotch Brite pads. Allow to dry to the touch depending on temperature and humidity. Always use solvent resistant gloves when applying this product.

    Patch Disks

    EPDM Patch Disks Information:

    Seal Trust™ Patch Disks are uncured EPDM membrane available in black or white with butyl mastic sealer die cut into 8” round disks. Can be used for flashing corners, as repair patches, or t-patches and anywhere required on EPDM, most TPO and some PVC membranes. Membrane must be cleaned prior to installation using Tape Primer.

    Application Instructions:

    Patch Disks are a multi use product used in inside/outside corners, t-joint covers, and patching or repairs of both EPDM and TPO membranes. Always clean and prime membrane using roofing industry standard products for tape applications such as Seal Trust Tack Back™ Primer or Low VOC Tape Primer. Lap Caulk should be used around all the outer edges of the disk for proper application. Use 3” steel roller for final installation step. Be careful to avoid fish mouths or air bubbles.
